OUR MISSION

Bridging Education and Art Together(B.E.A.T.) is a nonprofit organization in New York City that creates and operates extracurricular programs for urban youth.

The mission and purpose of B.E.A.T. is to create compelling programs for under served communities and underprivileged, overlooked students that live in them. B.E.A.T. currently produces 3 programs Beat Rockers, Beat Breakers, and Beat Makers.

It wasn't just music the way they normally listen to it or participate in it, they were actually able to make music with their voices and not only just make independent sounds but collaborate with a group, which is something that they don't really have the opportunity to do.
